Plain Acres

Hi, we're Tyler and Preston.

I'm Tyler Pincock. My business partner is Preston Norris. With our families, we run Plain Acres, a family-owned land company here in Spanish Fork, Utah.

How we met

Preston and Tyler met at church in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2020. Preston had moved from Idaho to expand his real estate work to Oklahoma. Tyler was serving as a 2-year volunteer missionary for his church. They had a lot in common, including mutual friends, and became fast friends. Shortly after Tyler completed his mission service & graduated college, they began working together and moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

A little about each of us

Tyler: Although I was born and raised in Utah, my family is originally from Maryland and Virginia, and I have a deep love for the east coast. I have a background in real estate analysis & underwriting, and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Utah. I've held real estate licenses in three states and overseen tens of millions of dollars worth of transactions, and I'm experienced with overcoming all the obstacles that pop up in real estate transactions. This year, my wife & I welcomed our first child, a baby girl. In my free time, I love to spend time in nature especially the Utah mountains - skiing, camping, hiking, and birdwatching with my family.

Preston: At 15, he was fixing up dilapidated and damaged homes in Idaho, learning real estate from the ground up and learning the value of working with his hands. By 19 he had moved to Oklahoma and become a Realtor, and within a year he was among the top 5% of Realtors in the state. In his mid-20s, he already had 10 years of experience when most of his peers were barely getting out of school. Preston has completed hundreds of successful real estate transactions in states all over the country, from homes to land to farms to condos. Preston & his wife enjoy traveling together, playing golf, and have recently picked up endurance running.

Why we do this

After nearly six years of working together, we've put ourselves fully into the mission of Plain Acres. Our mission is to make land ownership easy and accessible for everyone. "Plain Acres" started with the question "How can we make buying land be plain & simple?"

Big tracts of land are usually out of reach for the average family. We take larger pieces and make them more accessible: smaller parcels, sold on the open market, and in some cases with affordable financing we provide. That gives a family the chance to build a home, a ranch, or a homestead, to farm, to garden, to raise animals. Land like that can bless the generations that come after.

And if you're the one who has cared for that land, we want to make the process of selling & transferring that land as simple & stress-free as possible. Fair offer, with fair terms, on your timeline.

If you're thinking about selling your property, I'd love to hear from you.
